Funding

How can you help us?

Raynet FundingWe receive no government funding, all the kit we use is either owned by our members or has been bought by the team through kind donations from local organisations and individuals.

There is so much more the team can do to improve what we can offer, to enable our emergency radio communications to be the best available in the county, all we require is money.

If you or your organisation / company can help with anything on our wish list it would be most welcomed.

  • £30 buys an inverter to enable laptops and printers to be run for a vehicles battery
£50 buys a laser printer to enable messages sent via data to be printed off
£60 buys a handheld radio with ancillaries enabling us to provide a member of the LRF or the emergency services to communicate with other members.
  • £150 buys a mobile radio with ancillaries, this can be then utilised by an unlicensed or licensed operator from any organisation in a vehicle to enable them to communicate whilst on the move.
  • £250 buys a laptop, this enables data communication very similar to emails over our data radio network.
  • £500 buys a mobile data radio that would expand out data network.
  • £3,000 buys a repeater to enable a large area of the county to be covered by radio communications, should you choose this option the team will name the repeater after you or your organisation (subject to approval)

This is not an extensive list and we would be happy to talk to you about how your donation can be put to best use. Click Here to Contact us about making a donation.

Viewranger logoThanks to Viewranger for their continued support with mapping, without which we would not able to accurately deploy and work along side the emergency services and other volunteers.

Beds Battery donated 6 batteries and chargersNorthant’s RAYNET would like to thank Bedford Batteries for the really kind donation of 6 batteries and smart chargers. As a group of volunteers working alongside Northamptonshire Resilience Services we are still in need of further donations of equipment, batteries and funding to move our Radio Coverage of the county forward.
